Brian P. Anderson is the former Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of OfficeMax, Inc., a distributor of business-to-business and retail office products. Prior to assuming this position in 2004, Mr. Anderson was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Baxter International, Inc., a global diversified medical products and services company, a position he assumed in 1998.
In 2002, Mr. Anderson was named to Fortune magazine’s “Top 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America” and was the inaugural recipient of the “Chief Financial Officer of the Year” awarded by the Chicago chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (magna cum laude) from Howard University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting (cum laude) from Indiana University.
