Brian E. Edwards is Senior Vice President of Caterpillar Inc.’s Remanufacturing Division (Cat® Reman).
Cat Reman brings the value at the core of Cat® products back to life – reducing waste and minimizing the need for raw materials, energy, and water to produce new parts.
Brian joined Caterpillar in 2010 as sales and marketing vice president at the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Progress Rail. He continued to advance at Progress Rail Services LLC, serving in many roles, including executive vice president of rolling stock. Before joining Caterpillar, Brian spent over 20 years gaining expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain roles at General Electric and General Motors. He also serves as a member of the Cheniere Energy, Inc. Board of Directors.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University). He completed Caterpillar’s Executive Leadership Development Program in partnership with Stanford University.
