Brandon Vaughn is a personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability attorney who provides advocacy for those who have been harmed due to another party’s negligence. A longstanding advocate for equality, Vaughn has taken leadership roles in numerous professional organizations focused on diversity and inclusion, including Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and The Black Biglaw Pipeline. He also serves as the president-elect of the Hennepin County Bar Association, after previously serving on the organization’s board of directors as a delegate for the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers.
Within Robins Kaplan, Vaughn is the leader of the firm’s Black Firm Member Group, former chair of the firm’s Recruiting/Hiring Committee and former co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
Vaughn’s accomplishments have been noted by numerous organizations. He was recently shortlisted for the honor of Diversity & Inclusion Lawyer of the Year in the 2021 Chambers Diversity and Inclusion awards.
In 2020, Vaughn received the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s “Chairman’s Award for Leadership Excellence.” He was also included in Best Lawyer’s “Best Lawyers in America” list and awarded the American Association for Justice’s President’s Certificate of Recognition.
