Brad Neilley Sr. is Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Facilities for Avalon Bay Communities (AVB). With more than 80,000 apartment homes, AVB is considered one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the industry, focused on developing luxury apartment communities by acquiring, managing, developing or re-developing properties in high barrier-to-entry markets in the U.S.
Prior to joining AVB, Neilley held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President positions at PENTAX MEDICAL, ABM Industries and The New York Times.
In addition, Neilley received the President’s Award in recognition of his accomplishments at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in such roles as Worldwide Vice President of Human Resources and member of the Executive Management Board. During his tenure, he also received the Chairman’s Award for his contributions to a team that led a J&J company from start-up to over $1 billion in annual sales.
Neilley is a Board Member of William Paterson University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from William Patterson University in New Jersey and a Master’s in Business Administration (with honors) in International Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also holds certificates in post-graduate Strategic Management Executive Education from The Wharton School of Business.
