Bevelyn A. Coleman is an Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, member of Wells Fargo’s senior-level Management Committee, and executive sponsor of Wells Fargo Law Department’s Talent Management Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Council. She heads the Law Department’s Banking, Operations, Commerce & Global Risk Division.

 

Coleman leads the team of lawyers and paralegals responsible for providing legal support to Wells Fargo Bank in the areas of Deposits & Payments; Bank Secrecy Act & Anti-Money Laundering; Enterprise Patent Office; Intellectual Property; Consumer & Retail Credit Credits, Debit Cards, Payroll, Gift, and Prepaid Debit Cards; Commercial Cards; Rewards & Enhancement Services; Merchant Services; and, Strategy and Operational Risk.

 

Coleman has received several honors and recognitions: 2017 Who’s Who in Black Charlotte; 2017 North Carolina Women’s History Month Leadership Award; 2016 America’s Most Honored Professionals by American Registry; 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers Corporate Counsel by Savoy magazine; and Top 100 female US Attorneys by Inside Counsel magazine (2013, 2014, 2015).

 

Coleman earned a J.D. from Pace University School of Law and B.A. in Social Science, Pre-Law from Michigan State University.
