Barbara Whye is Vice President of Inclusion & Diversity at Apple.

In this role, Barbara is leading the company’s commitment to building a more equitable and inclusive world by increasing diverse representation at every level, fostering an inclusive culture that brings everybody in, and ensuring equitable pay and access to opportunity for all.

An engineer by training and a globally recognized leader on issues of representation in the technology industry, Barbara joined Apple in 2021.

She has more than 25 years of experience, including as Intel’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Corporate Vice President of Social Impact. At Apple, Barbara partners with senior leaders around the world and leads the company’s work to build inclusion and diversity into every system and process.

Barbara serves on the Board of Directors of BlackLine, Inc., the pioneer of the cloud financial close market.

Barbara is recognized as one of Fortune magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business.

Barbara graduated from the University of South Carolina (USC) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from USC’s Darla Moore School of Business.
