Asha Collins sha Collins is General Manager, Biobanks for DNAnexus, Inc.
In this role, Collins is responsible for managing the UK Biobank project and supporting the company’s diverse global health research community.
Prior to DNAnexus, Collins was Head of U.S. Clinical Operations of Genentech, a member of the Roche Group.
In that role, Collins was responsible for the team that executes in-sourced, late-stage, pivotal clinical trials across all US sites for Genentech and Roche.
Prior to joining Genentech, Collins held several senior leadership positions at McKesson Corporation between September 2014 and March 2018, including Vice President of Clinical Sourcing and Business Development from November 2015 to March 2018 and Senior Director, Corporate Strategy and Business Development from September 2014 to November 2015.
Collins holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and her PhD in Cancer Biology and Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
