Arthur E. Johnson was Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategic Development for Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Johnson contributed over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the information technology and defense industry.

Prior to Lockheed Martin, Johnson served as President and Chief Operating Officer of IBM Federal Systems prior to the sale of the company to Loral and subsequent merger with Lockheed Martin.

Johnson served in leadership roles in a number of professional and civic organizations. Johnson’s industry involvement included having served as the founding Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).

Johnson was named as one of the 2003 “50 Most Important African-Americans in Technology” by Blackmoney.com and U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology Magazine.

Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College. Also, Johnson is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
