April Kelly-Drummond serves as the Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Denny’s Inc., the nation’s largest family dining restaurant operator with more than $2 billion in annual sales. She is an integral player in championing a “Bold Way Forward,” a company-wide ongoing effort to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels.

Kelly-Drummond chairs Denny’s DEI Council and played a pivotal role in and negotiated the title sponsorship of the Orange Blossom Classic, an event that had not occurred in 43 years.

Kelly-Drummond leads the company’s outreach for its Hungry for EducationTM program, which has awarded more than $1.8 million in scholarships, recognizing outstanding students in elementary, high school and college who have worked to help end hunger.

Kelly-Drummond is a corporate board member of the League of United Latin American Citizens, the Multicultural Foodservice Hospitality Alliance, the Southern Area Links, Incorporated, and is currently president of Lambda Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in Gaffney, SC.

The College of Charleston graduate has been named South Carolina Women of the Year and received the Community Relations Award by the Governor of South Carolina.
