Anthony Box is a Partner at Gray Reed.
Anthony represents businesses and individuals in all types of civil and criminal tax controversies, white-collar defense cases, and regulatory investigations.
Anthony’s practice focuses on responding to a variety of government inquiries from the IRS, SEC, FBI, and other federal agencies, and formulating plans to minimize business disruptions.
Anthony previous experiences include service as a federal prosecutor and tax coordinator responsible for leading federal tax investigations and prosecutions in the Eastern District of Missouri; as an FBI Special Agent investigating white-collar crime; as a CPA at a Big Four accounting firm; and as tank commander & JAG Officer in the US Army with service in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Anthony’s non-linear path and experiences help him see things differently and find innovative ways to address and solve clients’ problems.
Anthony has also earned Certified Public Accounting (CPA) licensure and Board Director Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Anthony holds degrees from Morehouse College, Saint Louis University School of Law, Harvard Kennedy School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis.
