Anne Robinson is Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for IBM, a leading provider of global hybrid cloud and AI, and consulting expertise.
Anne’s extensive experience across law, business, public policy, and regulatory affairs makes her an ideal leader to guide our legal team. Anne comes to IBM with a wealth of insight into governance matters for major corporations.
Prior to IBM. Anne served Managing Director, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Vanguard and serves as Secretary of the Vanguard Funds. Anne led Vanguard’s Legal, Compliance, Investment Stewardship and Government Relations divisions.
Anne’s career path has included prominent roles at Citigroup, American Express and Deloitte, which expresses her caliber as a legal mind, business partner and strategic leader.
Anne is also an active board member of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), Children’s Rights, and the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School.
Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
