Anna Richo served as Cargill’s General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary from 2019- 2024, where she oversaw Corporate Governance, Global Ethics & Compliance, Global Security, Government Relations, Law, and Shareholder Relations.
Anna has extensive experience in compliance and business ethics, intellectual property and corporate litigation. She is passionate about mentoring others, is a strong advocate for investing in Black communities, and is committed to championing diversity and inclusion.
Before Cargill, Anna was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Belgium-based biopharmaceutical company UCB, served as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Amgen, and Vice President of law at Baxter Healthcare.
Anna is a member of the Board of Trustees for DePaul University.
Anna holds a B.S. degree in industrial and Labor relations from Cornell University and a J.D. degree from DePaul University, College of Law.
