Angela Bretz is the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Talent Acquisition Officer, serving in a matrix reporting relationship to Nationwide’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
In this role, she establishes and oversees the development, implementation and operation of all corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion work. As the head of talent acquisition, Angela leads the service delivery of enterprise recruiting strategies and initiatives to attract and retain talent for Nationwide.
Angela advances Nationwide’s brand and reputation through diverse strategic partnerships, extensive recruiting relationships, philanthropy, and community engagements. She is the company diversity, equity and inclusion thought leader and strategic business partner to senior leadership.
Angela serves the community through board and committee/council service with Columbus Works, United Way of Delaware County’s Women’s Leadership Network Advisory Committee, the United Negro College Fund Columbus Leadership Council and the Columbus Partnership’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council.
Angela has a Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and an MBA from Franklin University. She also has the Certified Diversity Executive designation from the Institute of Diversity Certification.
