Alfred W. Zollar has served as an Executive Partner at Siris Capital Group, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in value-oriented mid-market tech buyout investments, since February 2014. Prior to that, Zollar held various senior management positions at IBM Corporation during his 34-year career at the company, including most recently as General Manager of IBM Tivoli Software.
Zollar currently serves as a board member of Pulse Secure, LLC, Stratus Technologies, Inc., and Electronics For Imaging, Inc. Zollar previously served as a Director of Chubb Corporation from 2001 until 2016 and Red Hat, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Zollar is also a Harvard Fellow from the 2011 cohort of the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, a member of the Executive Leadership Council, and a lifetime member of the National Society of Black Engineers.
Zollar serves on the board of EL Education and on the board of the Eagle Academy Foundation.
Zollar earned his master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.
