Alfred J. Lee (Al) serves as Vice President, Chief Internal Governance Officer of Colgate- Palmolive Company – a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for all people, their pets and our planet.
Lee is an elected Corporate Officer and reports directly to Colgate Palmolive’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and to the Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee.
Lee oversees Colgate’s Global Ethics and Compliance and Global Corporate Audit functions. He is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Practices Guidelines and oversees internal audits and reviews of Colgate subsidiaries and business units worldwide. Under Lee’s leadership, Colgate-Palmolive has received significant recognition for the company’s Ethics & Compliance practices.
During Lee’s 30+ years at Colgate, Al has held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and finance, including IndoChina Finance Director, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Lee is currently a member of the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board of Trustees of St. Joseph’s Health System of New Jersey and the Board of Trustees of Dillard University.
Lee received his B.A. Degree from Dillard University, graduating summa cum laude.
