Albert P. Parker is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Zynerba Pharmaceuticals, a Nasdaq-listed company. Prior to successfully directing the recent sale of the company, Parker was a key member of the executive management team and had responsibility for overseeing all legal, corporate governance, IT/cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance matters.
Parker has held executive roles at leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies for nearly 20 years. Among his prior positions, Parker served as Chief Operating Officer at Oncocyte, a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company, and CEO at Insight Genetics, a subsidiary business; EVP & General Counsel at Sunovion and SVP, Global Chief Counsel at Wyeth, a Fortune 100 biopharmaceutical company.
Parker has served as a director on corporate, industry, and community-focused boards, including the American Arbitration Association, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. and received board certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Parker earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he served as an Editor of the Law Review, and his B.A. degree in Economics from Penn State University.
