Adriane M. Brown is a Managing Director at Flying Fish Partners, a firm that invests capital and expertise in early-stage startups in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
From 2010 through 2017, Brown served as President and COO at Intellectual Ventures (IV). Before joining IV, Ms. Brown was President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems. During the five prior years at Honeywell, she led two aerospace businesses.
Brown spent 19 years at Corning. She was appointed and served as Vice President and General Manager of Corning’s Environmental Products Division.
Brown serves on the Board of Directors of Washington Research Foundation.
Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and a Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Old Dominion University; and a Master’s degree in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she was a Sloan Fellow.
