Adiya Dixon serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Potbelly Corporation.
In this role, Dixon sits as a member of Potbelly’s executive team and advises its leadership and Board of Directors, and leads the company’s legal, compliance and real estate functions. Joining in 2020, Dixon helped lead key business turnaround and growth initiatives and redefined the strategic purpose of the company’s Legal Affairs function.
Prior to joining Potbelly, Dixon spent five years at the Wendy’s Company, initially supporting domestic M&A, franchise and finance before moving into the role of International Counsel, where she advised on all aspects of international growth for the brand. She began her legal career in private practice with the law firm of Debevoise and Plimpton, LLP in New York City.
The founder of Yubi Beauty, Dixon is a patent-holding inventor of a product named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions, and has been featured in Black Enterprise, Essence, Forbes, InStyle and the LA Times, among other national media.
Dixon holds a Juris Doctor form Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University.
