Ecolab Names Gail Peterson Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications
Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, food safety and public health technologies and services, has promoted Gail Peterson to Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications.
In her new role, Peterson will lead Global Marketing for Ecolab and oversee the company’s Global Brand, Global Communications, Market Research, Sustainability and Water Partnerships teams. She will join Eco- lab’s executive committee, reporting to Chairman and CEO Douglas M. Baker, Jr.
Previously, Peterson was Vice President of Marketing for Ecolab’s Healthcare division. She joined the company in 2016 as Vice President of Strategy after 15 years in a range of marketing leadership roles with General Mills.
Peterson serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota Children’s Museum. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
