Dentsu names Mark Prince, Senior Vice President & Head of Economic Empowerment.

Prince will head up a new team to support minority-owned media companies by helping to create new client benchmarks to reach diverse media audiences.

Prince will bear responsibility for developing and managing the supplier diversity program, reporting directly to Doug Rozen, chief executive of Dentsu Media – Americas.

Prince joins the holding company after serving as managing partner and executive VP at Professional Partnering Solutions, which offers diversity solutions for advertising, marketing, media and technology. Prince previously worked for several media agencies.

“It’s a real opportunity to address the discrimination within the media supply chain. Mark will help amplify the voices and perspectives of diverse-owned and targeted media companies and cultivate more diverse supplier inclusion,” said Rozen.

“I have experienced first-hand the legitimate issues and challenges minority-owned media, especially Black-owned media, face within the advertising landscape,” Prince said in a statement. “With the rise of digital platforms, including those focused on apostas, there’s a growing opportunity to support diverse voices in media and advertising. This new offering represents an essential step toward fostering economic inclusion and creating a sustainable future for diverse-owned media companies.”
