Dark and Lovely recently celebrated the launch of their newest line, Au Naturale, with Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam and Best-Selling Author and Curly Hair advocate, Nikki Walton in Atlanta, Georgia for the empowering CURL POWER Celebration.
Dark and Lovely Au Naturale’s CURL POWER CELEBRATION had a room full of curly haired girls dancing the night away! They enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, signature Bombay Sapphire cocktails, received curl consultations from the SoftSheen-Carson Style Squad at the curl stations and shared their curl stories throughout the night. The fun and interactive OMG Photo Booth was also on site capturing all the curls and coils and posted photos live on the big screens for all to see! Curl Stations were fully stocked with the complete Au Naturale line for guests to experience first hand allowing them to feel, touch and smell every product. Models with curly coifs also introduced guests to Dark and Lovely’s new Naturalista Digital tools available on iamdarkandlovely.com.
Keshia shared, “It was a pleasure to host Dark and Lovely’s Au Naturale Curl Power event in Atlanta. The message behind Curl Power directly relates to the empowerment, self-esteem, and celebration of diversity I teach my girls at Kamp Kizzy!”
Atlanta notables Egypt Sherrod, Chanita Foster, Monyetta Shaw, Sister 2 Sister Editor in Chief, Jamie Foster Brown and Celebrity Stylist Olori Swank were in attendance to show support for their curl friends Keshia and Nikki.
Throughout the evening, Dark and Lovely showcased live hair demos, product giveaways, as well hosted an Instagram contest where guests were invited to upload their photos using the hashtag #wearedarkandlovely and shared their experience with Au Naturale.
