The Martin Agency names Danny Robinson as Chief Creative Officer.

Prior to his new role, Danny served as SVP/Group Creative Director for agency.

Remember when Oprah gave away 276 Pontiac G6s? So does Danny. He was a big part of that history-making brand integration. But then again, Danny has always thought big. Both in his highly awarded advertising career, as well as in his highly secret hobby. (Shhhh, he is an amazing painter!)

As chief client officer, Danny is uniquely qualified to work with account management and creative to protect and sell stimulating, breakthrough creative ideas that fight brand invisibility and help create opportunities for success through cultural influence.

After all, you don’t find many former group creative directors who have an MBA, have worked in brand management and have founded their own ad agency known for leveraging pop culture. In addition to being a cofounder of Vigilante, Danny was the creative leader and writer there behind award-winning campaigns for Sprint, Major League Baseball, Snapple, Heineken, Pontiac, and advertising and event business for Johnnie Walker Black Label. He also wrote and art directed the first television commercials for Jay-Z and Foxy Brown, just to name a few.

And as group creative director at The Martin Agency, Danny led the biggest new business win in the company’s history — Walmart. He has also applied his sharp wit and strategic mind to brands like Pizza Hut, Hanes, Tic Tac, Chevrolet and OREO. And if you play your cards right, maybe he’ll paint your portrait!
