Benjamin Robinson Named Chief Administrative Officer at Taylor
Benjamin Robinson, who has served in senior executive leadership roles across some of the nation’s most prominent institutions over the past 25 years, has been named to the newly created position of Chief Administrative Officer for Taylor. Based in Charlotte, Robinson will assume the full-time role following a 12-month consulting assignment with Taylor that included his analysis of enterprise-wide initiatives in the areas of finance, operations, supply chain, business development, and human resources.
While Robinson is recognized for his experience in strategy and execution during his distinguished career, he is known best for his expertise in leading people. Robinson has led complex global organizations throughout the US and abroad, always exceeding expectations.
As Taylor’s first Chief Administrative Officer, Robinson will be responsible for oversight of critical operational and strategic functions including performance management, process improvement, risk management, compliance, corporate social responsibility, ethics, talent acquisition and retention, supply chain of agency strategic partners and vendors, as well as a leadership role in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Previously, Robinson was Senior Vice President, Chief Administration Officer for Prudential Annuities responsible for strategy and business development, innovation, diversity, change management, and ethics, among other responsibilities. Robinson currently serves as the College Chair of Johnson & Wales University, College of Business in Charlotte.
Robinson held several executive management positions at Bank of America where he oversaw the strategic business direction for several business units and supply chain management. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mastercard Cardholder Solutions at Mastercard International, where he was responsible for the strategic management of the subsidiary. Earlier in his career, Robinson served as a member of the Federal Reserve Board, Consumer Advisory Council, and as a Congressional Advisor to the United States House of Representatives Committee on Banking, Finance, & Urban Affairs. He is currently a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Robinson received his Bachelor of Arts from Bates College, where he was a Benjamin Mays Scholar and a member of The College Key. He holds a Master of Arts from Trinity College and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Union Graduate School. He also served as lieutenant and public affairs officer for the United States Navy Reserve for ten years.
