Derrick Roman was Partner of the international accounting and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) from 1997 until his retirement in 2020.
During his 35-year career with PwC, Roman delivered external audit, advisory and risk assurance services to multi-national public, privately held and non-profit concerns.
As an advisory partner, Roman focused on evaluating and improving internal controls, enterprise risk management, internal auditing and compliance programs for a diverse group of publicly traded companies. Roman led his PwC teams and clients through digital transformation, automation and shared delivery center initiatives. He also held several significant governance, line of business, diversity and inclusion and corporate responsibility leadership roles at PwC.
A Certified Public Accountant, Roman is a graduate of Babson College (M.A.) where he majored in Accounting. He has completed executive education training at Harvard University and Stanford University.
