Pinkie Dent Mayfield is the Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Graham Holdings Company, where she is responsible for public relations, communications, and investor relations.
A seasoned finance executive, Mayfield has held a number of leadership roles to include Vice President -Corporate Communications, Vice President-Corporate Solutions, Special Advisor to the Chairman and Assistant Treasurer. Previously, she was with Nations Bank in the Investment Services Division and began her career with Prudential Bache Securities.
Committed to the advancement of women and children through education, Mayfield serves on the board of the District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP) and the Philip L. Graham Fund. Throughout her career she has served numerous non-profit and community organizations.
Mayfield holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Trinity Washington University and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
