Tyrone Michael (T.J.) Jordan is the former President and Chief Operating Officer of DURA Automotive Systems. DURA is a leading automotive supplier of electric/hybrid and advanced driver-assistance systems. Before this role, Jordan was the EVP of Global Operations for General Motors and the SVP of Operations for United Technologies Corp.
Jordan was responsible for strategic growth across the global enterprise in this role. Under his leadership, DURA instituted a new electric vehicle/hybrid smart technologies strategy to thrive during the next technological evolution.
Jordan served on the Public Boards of Cooper Tire, Inc., Trinity Industrials, Inc., and the PE Boards of Dura Automotive Systems and Indebras.
Jordan received his Executive Aerospace & Defense MBA in Operations, Strategy & Finance from the University of Tennessee, a pre-law degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
