Donald R. James served as President of the Americas for Joyson Safety Systems.
At Joyson Safety Systems, James had responsibility for a $2 billion business across the U.S., Mexico and South America.
Prior to Joyson Safety Systems, James was Vice President – Hydraulic Brake Systems – North America for Continental. In this role, James was responsible for the overall strategic management of BU HBS North America including region P&L. Overseeing 3 manufacturing facilities in the USA & Mexico. Responsible for all Purchasing, R&D/Engineering, Quality, Project / Program Management, Finance, and Sales organizations in the region.
James’ executive roles in automotive have ranged from sales and marketing leadership positions to executive roles leading entire divisions of multi-national conglomerates both here and abroad.
James holds a Doctor of Business focused in Sustainability & Sustainable Product Development from Lawrence Technological University.
