Pamela Jones Harbour was the first African-American female Commissioner of the United States Federal Trade Commission.

Pamela was nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate, formulating the Commission’s substantive agenda, comprising a wide variety of competition, consumer protection, and privacy matters, including membership in the U.S. delegation to Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).

Pamela was a litigation Partner in several American law firms, with a specialty area in antitrust, consumer protection and data security law, where she chaired and co-chaired antitrust/privacy practices at two of the firms.

As a former Deputy Attorney General of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, her duties included oversight of the Attorney General’s civil litigation division, including an antitrust argument before the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of 37 State Attorneys General.

Pamela serves on the Advisory Board Member at Radicle Science, Inc.
