Denise Russell Fleming serves as Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Technology and Global Services for BD, a leading global medical technology company.
In this role, Fleming is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s IT systems and processes, cybersecurity, the enterprise program management office and global shared service centers. She is also a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
Fleming joined BD from Boeing, where she was the Vice President of IT and CIO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
Fleming is also a co-founder and board member of TechPACT, a non-profit focused on increasing diversity in STEM.
Fleming earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia; a MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business; and received an Advanced General Manager’s Program certificate from Insead Business School in France.
