Veleka R. Dyer-Peoples serves on the Advisory Board of Syridex Bio, a life sciences-focused investment firm investing in therapies that address unmet medical needs.
As a continuation of her demonstrated investment in and dedication to the life sciences community, Veleka serves on the Board of the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (“FITCI”), one of the largest business incubators in the US, where she serves as chair of the Governance Committee.
Veleka has spent over twenty-four of her twenty-eight years practicing law as a substantive, strategic and practical legal, regulatory, and compliance professional advising and counseling biopharmaceutical and life sciences companies around the world.
Veleka was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of Hood College.
Veleka graduated from Hampton University and the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she serves on the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Council.
