H. James Dallas was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Medtronic, a global medical technology company. In this role, Dallas successfully implemented over 10 transformational and turnaround initiatives, 20 acquisition integrations, 5 operations/quality shared services centers of excellence, and 3 innovation centers.
Dallas has over 30 years of experience in General Management/business operations roles as well as Chief Information Officer positions. Dallas retired in September 2013 as Senior Vice President of Quality, Operations and IT at Medtronic.
Dallas’ career has been focused on bridging the gap between strategy and execution, using IT both strategically and entrepreneurially, and leadership development.
Dallas has also written a book titled, Mastering the Art of Change: Inspire The People, and Succeed Where Others Fail.
Dallas holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Emory University.
