She has been a thought partner and advisor to multiple CEOs regarding strategy, risk, and “all things people” and a mentor to many employees, especially women and people of color, who are navigating their careers in corporate America.
During her tenure at Southwest Airlines, Carmichael’s leadership and influence were key to maintaining Southwest’s unique culture and its strong relationships with union leadership.
Carmichael holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
