Calvin G. Butler, Jr. is the Senior Executive Vice President of Exelon and Chief Executive Officer of Exelon Utilities. Butler oversees Exelon’s six electric and natural gas companies in the Northeast and Midwest. Together, they form the nation’s largest utility company by customer count, serving approximately 10 million customers. Previously, Butler served as CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), an Exelon company, and in other senior leadership positions at Exelon.
Butler is board chair of the Gridwise Alliance, an electric grid modernization advocacy organization. He also serves on the board of his alma mater, Bradley University, where he currently chairs the Board of Trustees.
Additionally, Butler serves on the boards of the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and Chair of The Greater Baltimore Committee.
Butler earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and a J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law.
