Joy Brown is the Senior Vice President & Chief Digital Information Officer for Boston Medical Center Health System.
In this role, Brown is responsible for evolving the health system’s digital capabilities and improving healthcare access, efficiency, and outcomes. She leads the health system’s digital, technology, cybersecurity, and information strategy to enhance operations for patients and members.
Brown previously served as the Chief Data Officer for Verizon’s Media business line. She also led Capital One’s Credit Card Businesses Global Data, Analytics and Machine Learning function helping the company make better credit decisions, optimize operations, and increase customer engagement.
Brown serves on the board of directors for ESO and ValidiFI.
Brown received her Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and her Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Data Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
