Machelle Morey is Vice President and General Counsel of Atlas Copco North America and a current board member of the ACC New Jersey chapter.
As the Vice President and General Counsel at Atlas Copco, Machelle oversees the legal affairs of the company’s North American operations, including employment, real estate, litigation, and M&A. She has more than a decade of experience in providing legal counsel and guidance to a global leader in industrial solutions and innovation.
Machelle joined the company over a decade ago after practicing in Atlanta, Georgia as a real estate attorney.
Machelle core competencies include drafting and negotiating complex contracts, developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate business risks, and leading a team of dedicated legal professionals.
Machelle is passionate about delivering high-quality legal services that support the company’s strategic objectives and values. She is also committed to fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence within the legal department and across the organization.
A native of Buffalo, New York, Machelle received her B.A. degree from Spelman College in 1996, and her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University.
