Tasha Grinnell is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for The Container Store, is the nation’s only retailer with a solution-oriented offering of custom spaces, organizing solutions, and in-home services, designed to transform lives through the power of organization.
In this role, Grinnell leads The Container Store’s compliance, governance, procurement, legal affairs, environmental, and sustainability functions.
Grinnell also serves as co-leader of the incident response team which manages data breaches, technical disruptions, and cyber threats.
Grinnell has built successful ESG business models to move beyond compliance and meet the needs and demands of its customers and valued stakeholders.
Grinnell is recognized by the Business Journal as one of the Texas’ 100 Influential People to watch, D CEO Dallas 500, Top Woman in Business, Outstanding General Counsel of a large legal department, Outstanding General Counsel of a small-size legal department, Association of Corporate Counsel’s Outstanding Senior Counsel, Top Woman in Retail, and Texas Minority Counsel Program’s Corporate Counsel of the Year.
Grinnell is a graduate of Hampton University and received her Law degree from The University of South Carolina School of Law.
