Kimberly Y. Chainey is the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Aptar, a global leader in drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies.
As a member of Aptar’s Executive Committee, Chainey oversees global legal affairs, compliance and government relations and is the executive sponsor for Aptar’s African American employee resource group BOLD.
Chainey is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of global experience advising c-suite executives and boards of directors of Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies, venture companies and government entities.
Chainey previously served as a board member of NeoPhotonics Corporation, an NYSE optical components company that was the subject of a technology transaction. Before joining Aptar, she held progressively senior roles with companies such as Panasonic Avionics Corporation, as Vice President and General Counsel, and senior roles with The Hershey Company, Avis, and the corporate law firm of Morgan Lewis.
Chainey holds an A.B. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, and a J.D./MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton School of Business.
