Rae Livingston serves as Chief Equity Officer for AbbVie.
In this role, Livingston leads efforts to foster a diverse, equitable, bias-conscious, and inclusive culture with impact. She is a member of AbbVie’s Executive Leadership Team.
Livingston joined AbbVie in 2016 as Vice President, Business Human Resources, Corporate Functions and U.S. Employee Relations. Before AbbVie, Livingston held multiple leadership roles, primarily in Business Human Resources. Her areas of specialty have included: global operations & engineering services, headquarter functions, mergers & acquisitions, and workplace culture.
Livingston was also named to Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Advisory Board (2021-2023) to help guide the HBA’s strategy on diversity dynamics. She is a member of The Executive Leadership Council, the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Executives Council with The Conference Board, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) executive network. Previously, Livingston served as board chair for the YWCA of Southeast Wisconsin.
Livingston is a proud HBCU Alum of Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and MBA. She is a lifetime member of FAMU’s Alumni Association.
