Kathleen Wilson-Thompson is Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance, a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, touching millions of lives every day through dispensing and distributing medicines, its convenient retail locations, digital platforms and health and beauty products, which operates more than 18,500 stores in 11 countries and employs more than 415,000 people.
In this role, Wilson-Thompson is responsible for all human resource-related matters globally. Wilson-Thompson joined Walgreen Co. in 2010 as Chief Human Resources Officer and assumed her current position in 2014 following the merger of Walgreens and Alliance Boots.
Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Kellogg Co.
Wilson-Thompson is a board member of Tesla and Ashland Global Holdings Inc. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan and various not-for-profit community organizations.
Wilson-Thompson possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate and an LLM, Master of Laws in Corporate and Finance Law from Wayne State University. In 2017 she was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the USA.
