Linzell L. Harris is the head of the Global Supply Chain and Strategy for AstraZeneca, a global, science-led biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Cambridge, UK.
In this role, Harris is responsible for the management of the company’s global supply chain capability supporting over 20 manufacturing facilities, 400 third party suppliers in over 35 countries worldwide.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Harris has held executive roles as the Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain for TEVA Pharmaceuticals supporting the company’s comprehensive global supply network for generic and specialty pharmaceuticals and for Godiva Chocolatier as the Head of Global Operations and as a member of Godiva’s Executive Leadership team.
With over 30 years of diverse general management experience, Harris has held leadership roles at Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer and Warner Lambert. Harris began his working career as a Supply Corp officer in the US Navy.
Harris is a frequent speaker on best practices in supply chain management around the world. He serves as Board Member for the Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation and served on the Governor’s task force for South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce.
Harris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the US Naval Academy.
