Telisa Yancy is Chief Marketing Officer at American Family Insurance. In this role, she leads all marketing, customer experience, consumer insights, communications and digital functions. She is a member of the American Family Insurance senior leadership team.
Yancy has more than 23 years of marketing experience. Recognized in the business community as a revolutionary thinker and a transformational leader, she has a keen focus on customer-driven business models that leverage technology and design to gain efficiency and deliver delight to customers.
Yancy joined American Family Insurance in January 2009, after a successful career in the automotive, retail, restaurant, media innovation and consulting industries. In 2011, she and her team spearheaded a re-positioning of the 85-year old company with a Silver Effie Award-winning campaign that changed the conversation in the hyper-competitive consumer insurance industry. She was listed as a 2017 Ad Age Women to Watch.
Yancy holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business and Commerce.
