Denise Williams is Chief People Officer of FIS, the world’s largest global provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, FIS serves more than 20,000 clients in 130 countries.
In this role, Williams leads FIS’ global people function, which serves 55,000 employees around the globe. A seasoned HR executive with more than 20 years of experience, she works closely with the executive team to drive the company’s people agenda.
Prior to joining FIS, Williams served as IBM’s Vice President of Human Resources for North America Sales and Distribution. In that role, she oversaw
human resources for the global sales and distribution workforce and managed the HR Generalist team responsible for supporting IBM’s North American employees.
Before IBM, Williams held numerous HR roles at AllianceBernstein L.P., First Data and Coopers & Lybrand.
Williams contributes her time towards a range of causes and is an active member of organizations including the Society for Human Resources Management and World at Work.
Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
