Toni Townes-Whitley is Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector for Microsoft.
In this role, Townes-Whitley leads a team of 2,000 sales professionals serving government, education, and non-privatized healthcare customers in more than 100 countries; generating over $13B in revenue per year. Townes-Whitley oversees Microsoft’s partnerships with governments to provide innovative technology solutions, enhanced operations, the delivery of services to citizens, improved quality and reach of educational opportunities and growth for local economies.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Townes-Whitley had over 20 years of experience spanning roles in Public Sector management, global business development and enterprise operations.
Townes-Whitley is a recognized leader in the IT market, formerly serving as President and Board member of Women in Technology (WIT), and Board member of the Industry Advisory Council, the IT Alliance for Public Sector, and the Partnership for Public Service. She serves the broader community as Board member for the United Way and the Women’s Center of Northern Virginia and Leadership Foundry.
Townes-Whitley holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
