Sylvia Taylor is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Safe-Guard Products International, LLC. Taylor is an experienced human resources leader who has worked in both U.S. and international environments.
In her current role, Taylor serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Taylor is charged with designing and executing the organization’s
human resources strategy which is an integral part of the overall business plan.
Taylor’s previous roles include serving as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at The Weather Channel and serving as Vice President of Human Resources for AutoTrader.com. In both roles Taylor was responsible for implementing key initiatives in change management, performance alignment, talent acquisition and leadership development to increase organizational effectiveness. Taylor worked with the Executive Leadership Teams to ensure that the right people, processes and structures were in place to achieve key
business objectives.
Taylor is also a member of The Human Resources Leadership Forum. In 2012, Taylor was honored as one of the “Top 10 Breakaway Leaders” by the Global Human Resources Leadership Summit.
Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and an MBA from Howard University.
