Angelia Pelham is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Cinemark Holdings, Inc. Cinemark is a leader in the motion picture exhibition industry with over 500 theaters and almost 6,000 screens in the
U.S. and Latin America.
In this role, Pelham leads all aspects of the company’s HR practice to include setting the people agenda for talent acquisition; organizational capability and effectiveness; total rewards and compensation; succession planning and performance management.
Pelham has worked as an HR executive with such brands as the Walt Disney World Company, Marriott, and previously as a Vice President of HR at PepsiCo, Frito Lay, and Yum! Brands, Inc.
Pelham is an Adjunct Professor with Dallas Baptist University and also serves on the Board of Directors for North Texas Performing Arts, Frisco Youth Theatre, in Frisco, TX. She also leads the Teen Ministry at her church, Life-Changing Faith Christian Fellowship.
Pelham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Psychology from the Florida State University, and a Master’s degree in HR
Management from the Crummer Business School of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
