Beverly Carmichael is the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
In this role, Carmichael is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the company’s human resources department, including attracting, hiring, training, developing and retaining talent.
Carmichael is also responsible for the company’s diversity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Carmichael joined Cracker Barrel in 2014 with over 25 years of human resources and legal experience, including roles as Senior Vice President of Labor and Employee Relations; Vice President of People (HR); Chief Counsel of Labor and Employment at Southwest Airlines; Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Ticketmaster; and as an attorney at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP.
Carmichael is a Board Member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and serves on its Compensation Committee. She has also served as a Director-at-Large on the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Board of Directors.
Carmichael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma.
