David L. Steward is Chairman and Co-Founder of World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), one of
the largest African-American-owned businesses in America. In this role, Steward actively develops strategic relationships with key constituency groups, suppliers, customers and employees.
Steward also plays a major role in WWT’s outreach for large contract bids within industry specific operating companies. Steward has more than two decades of experience in the technology industry and is a sought after speaker who is called upon to share his success strategies and focused mission to serve others in life and business.
Prior to starting WWT, Steward held a number of leadership and management positions with Wagner Electric, Missouri Pacific Railroad and Federal Express Corporation.
Steward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Central Missouri State University. Steward also holds Honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters by Harris Stowe State University and Lindenwood University.
