Otha T. “Skip” Spriggs III is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer for TIAA. In this role, Spriggs leads human resources strategy and execution for TIAA-CREF’s global workforce, including compensation and benefits; talent acquisition, assessment, and development; organizational design and effectiveness.
Spriggs also oversees the TIAA-CREF Institute, which produces research and insights on issues
pertaining to financial security and organizational effectiveness for the educational, nonprofit and public sectors.
Spriggs is a member of the College of Business Administration Board for the Savannah State
University and the HR Advisory Board for University of South Carolina’s Moore School of
Business. Spriggs is on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Corporate Productivity and is
former Chairman of the Board for the Philadelphia Urban League.
Spriggs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Towson State University.
