Joia M. Johnson is Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Secretary of Hanesbrands, Inc., a leading marketer of innerwear, outerwear and hosiery apparel. In this role, Johnson oversees the legal and corporate social responsibility functions at Hanesbrands Inc.
Johnson joined Hanesbrands in 2007 from RARE Hospitality International Inc., a publicly traded restaurant franchise owner and operator, where she was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.
Johnson has more than 20 years of legal and business experience, including the creation and development of corporate law departments and the management oversight of real estate, construction and risk management.
Johnson currently serves on the Board of the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra and the Board of the American Arbitration Association.
