Frank M. Clark was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), a unit of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation that delivers electricity to approximately 3.8 million customers. Clark has extensive community and civic involvements including being Co-Founder of the Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy in Chicago.
Clark received numerous awards including the prestigious “History Makers Award” and the “National Humanitarian Award” from the National Conference for Community and Justice. In 2008, U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology Magazine named Clark one of the “100 Most Important Blacks in Technology.” Clark was also ranked among the “50 Most Powerful Black Executives in America” by Fortune Magazine in 2002.
